Hi everyone and welcome at WIPW! Today I'd like you to see my Christmas-projects.

MM: or no... Wait, its Tuesday!

That's right... I forgot MM again. I don't know how many people actually read MM, but I know my sister won't appreciate another week missed... And I must admit: I have two reason to write this post anyway, better late that never...

Reason number one:
Me and Poes actually had an adventure last week... And I want to share with you!

You see, my cat is well traveled... I study at the university and live in the city where I study. But in the weekends I leave for my moms. It's cheaper, and of course... Gezelliger...
I know, Dutch word... Fairly untranslatable, so let's just say it's more fun to go home to my mom ;)

This traveling involves a train ride of an hour each week, and Poes? She just tags along!

From day one she had a traveling bag. And no, the two cats no longer fit in together... They were only like 8 weeks old here! (Nor would they tolerate being this close to each other anymore).

Although anything that gets her transported will do, Poes has a preference for nice cozy bags on train rides... As what's a cat got to do? Sleep of course... And be very cute, so other travelers oohh and aahh ;)

Now, on to our adventure of last week... My cat also walk on a leash! :D
And we took a nice walk through the mini, semi-forest across from my building:

It made us happy. And I remembered how much fun it can be, as I hadn't taken Poes out for a while... Now I have decided to take walks more often again :)

Well, you will find out next week... But I can tell you it has something to do with the fact that this is post 94...

WIPW: Winter is coming!

Yes, you read that correctly. Here in the Netherlands it is not yet impressive (nor does anyone expect it to be impressive already), but other parts of the world might thing of this as an understatement ;)
Yet, I try to bring some snow into my house anyway...

FOF: More Sinterklaas!

Today I show you the result from a week of Sinterklaas crafting. I made the Sinterklaas Surprise for my mom. And so I have been busy...

WIPW: Where to start?

Hi everyone. It is WIPWednesday... Have you seen my growing list of WIPs on the left side? I have over 20 WIPs... No I won't show them all. Only a few ;)

MM: Rosso

After last weeks Meow Monday post my sister protested really hard, claiming I missed one of our pets...
Well, our semi-adoptive pet ;)

Meet Rosso:

Yeah, that's right... The red one outside. It is a very, very tiny male cat (as you might see, Muffin is quite bigger, although way younger).

He has been around quite long already. He was big buddies with Teigertje, our previous cats. Poes and Muffin... Not so much! ;)
Living down the street he quickly learned that in summer our back door is open and that there is cat food in the house!

All that is left to do then, is capture the heart of the biggest pet lover of the house (my sister) and food is only a meow away! ;)

Now in winter-y times he joins in on our late night (henge the picture quality) dog walks for a little pet, a big cuddle and some nice late night snacking...

He is the cutest thing around, and my sisters biggest wish is to adopt him truly. Unfortunately we know his owner well, so she has some bad luck. She will have to do with petting and laughing:

^ this is not an uncommon sight, as you walk down the street with not enough attention for Rosso :D

I thought I'd look for a cat-loving pattern today, and this is what I found:

A Valentine cat! I love this thing... And be honest... He looks like Rosso ;)

WIPW: A new challenge

Hello everyone... It's WIPWednesday today. And I have quite some projects to show, so lets move on immediately!

MM: Christmas here yet?

Hi everyone... It is time already for Meow Monday again. I nearly forgot!

But say, we can't start our week without some cuteness, right? As a reward for surviving Monday! ;)

I was thinking, you already met Poes and Muffin, but you never met my first cat, even though you will probably only see him once:

This big, white monter is our first cat. Teigertje... No, when you are not Dutch or a native speaker you can't pronounce this properly ;)
This giant never hurt a fly (it did catch birds, for that matter), really the most layed back cat you'll ever meet...
Unfortunately Teigje passed away some time ago already, but still he looks nice and cute on pics! ;)

This cat was the buddy of our other pet, although I am not quite sure whether or not she will appreciate that I put her on a cat-themed page, but she just fits right in ;)

See... Same hat! :P I think almost every animal gets cute wearing Santa's hat.

So, then let's keep the patterns in a similar theme, right?

Alright, no hat... But stil cute. And on time to start now and finish to hang a cat in the christmas tree later!

And I could not help but add this one:

I keep putting this one off, but I have been wanting to make a cat christmas tree for a while now... It just keeps up its hopeful place on my to-do-list...

You didn't expect that, a post on Monday, right?

On insistance from my sister I am reintroducing Meow Monday... With a little twist...
Yes, I will show off cute pictures of my cat, Poes, and my sister's cat, Muffin, I mean, what do you expect? She has a secondary motive!
But beside that we will keep up with the crochet-theme of my blog: every Monday I will share a crochet pattern and maybe even an occasional knitting pattern.... Very cat related, of course!

So, ready for some cat cuteness?
How it all began...

The top little one is Poes, the bottom one is a seductive Muffin...
Aren't they the cutest? ;)

Now, we can move on to something more crochet-y.

For our first cat pattern, we of course take the most famous crocheted cat!
Amineko! Never heard of him? I can hardly believe that...

He is a cute little fellow, right?

And, even better... He has a big brother! Amari-san.
